Nesting is an allegory for returning to the past and feeling a sense of loss or transition. Each branch is unique in its elegant movement and curvature, creating a pathway into the past that can only be visited through memory. Some of the branches retain evidence of one's recollections through photographs and nests while others are bare. When the pieces are lit, the installation is transformed by soft shadows of varying intensity on the walls.
